  • D6AC High Strength Alloy Steel

     

    D6AC is a medium carbon, low alloy, vacuum melted ultra high-strength steel primarily used for high strength structural applications requiring strength levels up to 280,000 PSI.

     

     

    Its hardenability of this alloy is better than of AISI 4340. D6AC is able to reach strengths ranging from 180 to 260 KSI through heat treatment.

     

    D6AC VAC-ARC Steel is produced by the consumable electrode vacuum arc remelting process to provide optimum cleanliness and preferred ingot structure.

  • 9310 Alloy Steel

     

    9310 is a low alloy steel containing chromium, nickel and molybdenum with high hardenability, strength and fatigue resistance. 9310 is a deep hardening steel. It has excellent ductility and toughness make it optimal choice for components with heavy sections.

  • 300M Alloy Steel

     

    300M VAC-ARC Steel is a modified 4340 alloy steel with high hardenability and very high strength. This is achieved with the inclusion of vanadium and a higher silicon composition. 300M is a great choice where fracture toughness and impact strength are crucial. It is used mostly in the 270/300 KSI tensile strength range for aircraft gears, flap tracks and other structural applications.

    Vacuum Arc Remelting (VAR) improved the cleanliness and preferred ingot structure.

  • 4340 Alloy Steel

     

    4340 alloy steel is a heat treatable and low alloy steel that contains chromium, nickel and molybdenum. It has good shock and impact resistance with good wear and abrasion resistance when hardened. Its toughness and strength improved in the heat treated condition.

    This alloy can be quenched and tempered to achieve a wide range of hardness, ductility and strength levels while still being able to resist stress.

    In the AMS 6415 cold finished or hot rolled condition, it has hardenability with high strength characteristics. This condition is an optimal choice for highly stressed parts that will be used in severe conditions.

  • 4150CMV Gun Barrel Quality Steel
