H-13 Drill Rod Tool Steel is a free machining grade that is prehardened to Rc 42-46 and is designed for hot work applications. Since it has made in the prehardened condition, size change during heat treatment phase are eliminating and you can machine to finish dimensions. VIS-44 (H-13) is ideal for high-strength machinery parts.

Standard bar lengths are 3 foot long but can be supplied in 12 foot long as well.

This material is stocked in the annealed condition and ground and polished in tight tolerances.
